Tony Dixon Tin Whistles werden aus zylindrischen ABS Kunststoff gefertigt. Dixon Whistles lassen sich sehr gut spielen. Die einteilige Variante ist nicht stimmbar (untuneable). Die zweiteilige Dixon ist am Kopfstück stimmbar (tuneable). Der Sound ist mittellaut und sehr klar. Sie benötigen zum Spiel dieser Whistles, auch in der oberen Oktave, nicht sehr viel Luft. Der Klang wird, auch im oberen Bereich, nicht schrill.
Jetzt neu: Dixon ABS Tin Whistle High D mit Messing Stimmzug. Dieses Instrument sieht durch den innenliegenden Messing Stimmzug besonders elegant aus.
